My Valuable Business Strikes Up Support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area at Bowl for Kids’ Sake
COLUMBIA, MD, May 15, 2024—My Valuable Business (MVB) and its marketing brand, ANALITK, rolled into Bowlero on Saturday, May 11, to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area at their Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has not only participated in this event but has also been a Lane Sponsor.
The event is hosted annually by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area and provides the local community with an opportunity to assemble bowling teams to compete while supporting the organization and its mission to “create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth” so that all young people achieve their full potential.
The My Valuable Business Bowl for Kid’s Sake bowling team, comprising of Demet, Jennifer, and Sugako, eagerly laced up their bowling shoes and came together for a fun-filled afternoon of strikes, spares, and even a few gutter balls.
“Bowl for Kids’ Sake is one of our favorite events to be a part of every year,” said Demet Anagnos, CEO of My Valuable Business. “Big Brothers Big Sisters is a longstanding client of the company, and we will never pass up an opportunity to support our clients and the next generation.”
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is one of several Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area events that My Valuable Business regularly participates in. The other annual events include Christmas in July, which will take place later this summer, and The Big Celebration, which takes place in the fall.
“This organization is particularly special to us because of the work they do to help leave the world a better place than they found it,” said Demet. “We consider this a core value at our company, and we look forward to many more years of working and building our community together.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area
Since 1949, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area (BBBSNCA) has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the Washington region’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, BBBSNCA makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 7–18 years old, in communities across the National Capital Area. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
